Party Theme/Idea: Christmas Lunch. Set up tables all over the house with various vignettes. Use ornaments as napkin rings and small gift boxes wrapped with holiday napkins.

Favorite Recipe: Bev’s Homemade Fudge

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
½ cup cream or half and half
2- 1 ounce squares baking chocolate
1 Tbs. light Karo syrup
1 Tsp. vanilla
¼ cup butter
1 cup pecans (optional)

Preparation:
Put sugar, cream, chocolate and syrup in a saucepan and cook, stirring constantly until it reaches softball stage on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add butter, let cool for two minutes and start beating rapidly. Add pecans and vanilla. Beat until glossy and pour into buttered pan. Let cool and cut into squares.

– Use a pre-made runner and embellish with faux roses.
