New Orleans author, designer, and magazine editor Bev Church is as comfortable creating a gala evening for a major corporation as she is appearing on national and local television programs as an expert on entertaining.

As the author of three bestsellers, The Joys of Entertaining, just released in paperback, Weddings Southern Style and Entertaining Celebrations, Mrs. Church travels through the United States lecturing on all facets of entertaining and appearing before television audiences in each city. Her latest book, Seasonal Celebrations, is available now.

Mrs. Church has educated and delighted national and regional television audiences on hundreds of television programs in cities all over the United States from Good Morning America to Home and Garden Television (HGTV). Mrs. Church also consults several corporations on entertaining to several corporations and designs flowers, tablescapes and special parties for numerous clients. She is the Executive Editor of St. Charles Avenue Magazine for which she writes a monthly entertainment column. Bev recently hosted a segment on WWL-4 every Monday called, "You're Invited".

After graduating from Newcomb College and teaching in the public schools, Mrs. Church began raising a family and quickly got involved in civic and charitable activities. It was through these ventures that she developed her decorating skills and her love for entertaining.

Mrs. Church was co-owner of a flower and party decoration shop and is currently co-owner of a full service entertaining planning firm, Christmas Visions by Landscape Images. Bev owns Entertaining Celebrations, LLC, which produced Seasonal Celebrations and also manufactures and sells show stopping centerpieces such as palm trees, celebration centerpieces, candlesticks and more!

Mrs. Church's imagination and personal style makes her a sought-after lecturer on successful entertaining. Her presentations, accented by slides and demonstration tables, are known to mesmerize her audiences with enthusiasm, energy and a visual feast of unique and magical ideas.

As a civic activist, Mrs. Church has played an important leadership role with improving New Orleans. She has been involved in the restoration of New Orleans City Park and the New Orleans Public Schools through a program called Dollars for Scholars, and the New Orleans Council for Young Children.

Mrs. Church is an active member of the Garden Club of America as well as a sustaining member of the Junior League. She has taught Sunday School for over 20 years. Mrs. Church's four books have sold over 100,000 copies. She has two grown sons and lives in New Orleans with her husband, John Church, and Italian Greyhound, Sophia.
