| Nature is ablaze with color. Verdant foliage is
everywhere along with a stunning palette of blooms in lilac, fuchsia, fiery red and other
spectacular shades. The weather is sheer perfection and the intoxicating perfume of
roses wafts through the gentle breeze. There's perhaps no better time to celebrate
the splendor of spring - so dine al fresco with your gardening friends. |

A spring garden doesn't need much
decoration, but for added effect try topping the tables with trellises entwined with ivy,
flowers, and greenery. Use antique quilts instead of tablecloths for a classic,
traditional touch.
(as shown in photo above)
Tables are also set in the green house amid rare orchids. A tapestry is spread on
the table with cabbage leaf service plates.

| H E L P F U L H I N T S: - If the party is in a private garden, have guests bring clippers and
share cuttings with them. Be sure to provide plastic cups or small zip-lock style
bags for transporting the cuttings.
- If you can't find a terrific trellis, make your own out of
bamboo tied with raffia to look like a windowpane. |
